A bright and airy Stefanutti Stocks edutainer classroom
:: News

On 1 December 2009, World Aidʼs Day, the Noah Orphans Reamogetswe Ark in Muldersdrift took delivery of their new edutainer sponsored by the Stefanutti Stocks Group. The pre-school currently caters for 69 AIDS orphans and is run by teacher, Lebo Marobe.
The edutainer is a shipping container that has been converted by The Bright Kid Foundation into a bright and airy classroom, and is suitable for 25 children. Stefanutti Stocks sponsored the R200 000 edutainer, with Nedbank contributing R30 000.
A further two edutainers, sponsored by other companies are due to arrive at the day care centre this week. The additional and more formal classroom space will enable the day care centre to be registered with the Department of Social Services, giving them access to funding for the children.
A delighted Lebo Marobe accepted the keys to the edutainer from Stephen Pell, a Stefanutti Stocks board director. “We commend the good work done by Lebo, her volunteers and Noah Orphans” said Stephen, “and are delighted that our contribution will make a difference in the lives and lifestyle of these young children.”
